There are several programs in the Charlotte area by which you can financially help HGBCS at no cost to you.

Many stores have a discount card, and by linking your card to HGBCS, you are ensuring that the store donates a percentage of whatever you spend to our school.

Among these stores are Harris Teeter, Food Lion, and Target. By providing you the links to sign-up, we are hoping that you take advantage of this great opportunity to earn free money for HGBCS.

**Remember that many of these cards require you to re-link your card every school year (on or after August 1st)**

***NEW*** From March 1 until March 31, 2008, Harris Teeter will donate 1% of the purchase dollars for every customer who is linked to your school and uses their VIC card to purchase any Frozen Food Department item. There is no limit to what you can earn. Customers who are linked to more than one school will have their purchase dollars divided evenly between their schools.

Bloom Grocery Stores
With our new "Shopping is a Breeze" program (where available) Bloom guests can donate valuable fund raising dollars to a local school. When guests enroll in the Shopping is a Breeze program, they can designate a local school from our store list to receive their rebate. As long as guests spend $100 or more with their Breeze card during each 12 week promotional period they qualify for a rebate. Schools may use the money for everything from supplies to computers and even band equipment. Any Bloom guest can donate 1% of their total purchase amount directly to our school by simply using your BREEZE card. These dollars can add up quickly so get the word out!  All you have to do is sign up for the Breeze card at your local Bloom grocery store and designate our school's code, 00288, on the application under rebate options. Once you spend $100 during each 3 month promotional period (posted within the store), you become eligible to donate. (Purchases of alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, prepaid MasterCards and rental equipment do not apply towards the 1% contribution) If you already have a Bloom card, you can go to the customer service desk at any Bloom store or call 1-866-552-5666 and tell them you want to donate your rebate to HGBCS and give them our code, 00288.
